LAMPWORK BOOKS

....these should be available from many glass supply companies as well as some bookstores.

Making Glass Beads, Cindy Jenkins...this one is what started it all for me. Good step-by-step instructions and wonderful photos.

Beads of Glass, Cindy Jenkins...Cindy's second book...specific instructions by individual beadmakers, great photos (including a few of my own beads!)

Passing the Flame, Corina Tettinger...expensive but with fabulous step-by-step photos and always interesting text by Corina who has a unique way of sharing her experience with glass and her opinions on any number of things.

Dots, by Brad Pearson and Deana Griffin Dove...for a great explanation of how to make and use dots. I think they have some news ones out - probably also really well done.

LAMPWORK VIDEOS

Introduction to Lampwork Beads, Kate Fowle Meleney...wonderful basic beadmaking video. There are two more in this series with more advanced techniques.

Boro Bead Magic, Doug Remschneider...
the first boro beadmaking video with lots of specific recipes for using color.
